My Mom & I took our first yoga retreat together! In the opening yoga practice Julie asked "What does it feel like to do less than you can?"  As someone who's spent most of my life trying to achieve the next thing, that really spoke to me.  

 

This retreat was a gift I gave myself.  It was so nurturing to be away from all the "To-Dos"at home, eat delicious food (made & cleaned up by someone else!) and take space to dream about the life I want for myself and my family. I left feeling more aligned with my own priorities.  And I'm learning things like how to do less. Quite an accomplishment for this overachiever!

As a Type A it can be difficult for me to take time for myself.  But I decided to make that a priority, and signed up for my first retreat ever. There I met amazing women from all walks of life and was surrounded by positive energy. We ate amazing healthy food and went home with great recipes.  But even better, I learned to appreciate my body for what it is.  Julie taught me how focusing on my breathing can be so calming yet powerful when I'm stressed, anxious or can't sleep. In fact, yoga has been so calming for me that my sister recently asked me why I was so chill. My answer: “Yoga with Julie”.

What's included?

This 3 day all-inclusive retreat experience is limited to 12 participants and includes:

  • Check-in: Friday April 29 (1-5pm), check-out Sunday May 1 (12n)

  • Single or double occupancy in a spacious private bedroom 

  • Healthy delicious meals (dinner Friday through breakfast Sunday) prepared onsite by Chef Cheryl of Real Food Well.  Cheryl will spoil you with "from-scratch" wholesome meals that taste amazing and are so good for you

  • Four practices (yoga poses, breathing techniques, guided meditation, chanting) tailored to meet your needs, perfect for beginners or taking your practice deeper

  • Four discovery & self-care sessions to guide your inward journey.  Learn something new about yourself.  And find inspiration.

  • Ample free-time and space to unwind and recharge:

    • Lots of windows with gorgeous views of the lake & natural surroundings

    • Beautiful hiking or biking trails nearby  

    • Board games, game room, lawn games

    • Onsite cooking class by Chef Cheryl (included)

Staying Safe during COVID

Your well-being is my TOP priority.  While life gives no guarantees, we'll take extra precautions to help keep each other healthy on retreat.  

  • All participants must share proof of a negative COVID-19 test result within two days of arriving. (At-home test results accepted)

  • In common areas we'll use Your Time Yoga's Medify Air HEPA 13 Filtration units (tested to remove 99.9% of Airborne COVID-19 & SARS-Cov-2 Particles)

Julie Crossman is an IAYT Certified Yoga Therapist and Certified Yoga Instructor offering the tools you need to feel your best.  She specializes in personalizing yoga for students of all ages, sizes and abilities.  

 

Yoga was never meant to be “one size fits all”.  Julie teaches you to harness the REAL POWER of yoga by adapting yoga poses and simple breath, movement and intention to support your unique anatomy and needs, so you enjoy more feel-good days and deep-sleep nights.  She makes learning yoga fun and easy for brand-new beginners, and helps you build confidence, flexibility, strength and balance.
